YIN YOGA This 90-minute class is mostly a floor-based practice, with use of props such as blocks, bolsters and straps. The practice is closed with a tranquil sound bath Savasana using Chakra tuned crystal sound bowls. Yin yoga is a gentle and nourishing practice with longer and deeper holds, by-passing muscle groups to lengthen and nourish the deep connective tissues in the body. Inspired by the philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin Yoga primarily focuses on your body’s meridians. Meridians are invisible pathways in your body that carry energy, or Qi. The deep postures of Yin Yoga work with your meridians and Chakras to boost your overall health and well-being. You are sure to discover balance in body, mind and spirit. This is an all levels class.
