Restorative Yoga is a deeply nourishing practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. In this 60-minutes session, we will explore Pranayama-or breath work-, a brief meditation and will mindfully move through 4-5 supported poses that are sure to bring peace in the body and the mind. These poses can be done lying on the floor, on the bed or in a recliner…in your jammies if you wish!
A few props will be needed. If you do not have a yoga bolster, 2 blocks, and a yoga strap, a few household items will do:
2 blankets, a stack of books similar in size, 2 bed pillows, 2 bath towels, a washcloth for your eyes and a bathrobe belt.
